Chief Executive Officer
Kevin serves as the CEO of PortACourse, where he combines an extensive background in computer programming with strategic leadership to drive the company’s vision. An experienced entrepreneur, Kevin has previously founded and operated two high-tech startups, giving him a practical perspective on innovation and business development. At PortACourse, he leverages this technical and operational expertise to lead the creation of advanced AI-generated learning modules designed for the K-12 and Higher Education markets.
Beyond his work in the tech sector, Kevin is a dedicated educator and researcher. He holds a PhD in Management from the University of Guelph and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, with research interests spanning data analytics, blockchain technology, and organizational leadership. As a university instructor, Kevin has taught courses on business strategy and social entrepreneurship, ensuring that PortACourse’s products are grounded in real-world pedagogical needs and academic rigor.
William McDermott
